
Volunteer Work
When not working as a QA Analyst, time is spent championing LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion, designing accessible gardens and digital spaces, teaching environmental education in schools and libraries, and promoting sustainable gardening through the Rutgers Master Gardeners program.
Diversity & Inclusion
- Led company-wide cultural programming and professional development initiatives at FCB Health (now Olixir New York), including organizing heritage month events and workplace education workshops reaching 400+ employees.
Environmental Education
- Designed and maintain the Native Plant Sensory Garden at the Union Public Library’s Vauxhall Branch alongside the Library’s Green Team, creating educational spaces that combine sustainable gardening with community engagement (see feature).
- Lead community presentations on native plant gardening with the Master Gardeners of Union County at Union Public Library, NJ, combining ecological education with hands-on demonstrations.
- Designed and implemented K-4 STEM curriculum as Educator & Garden Manager for Livingston Eagles Garden at Livingston Elementary School.
- Developed an award-winning rain garden as a Rutgers Master Gardener, receiving State Master Gardener Awards of Excellence for environmental education initiatives.
Digital Leadership
- Currently serve as Web Manager for Rutgers Master Gardeners of Union County’s WordPress site, overseeing development, content creation, and program outreach initiatives.
